What areas do you serve?
In Charleston, we serve West Ashley and parts of James Island, mainly the Maybank/Terrace area and north of the connector. If you’re unsure if you’re in our service area, please ask! If your area isn’t listed here, feel free to contact us about that too – we know someone who can help you!
What kinds of pets do you take care of?
All kinds! Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and many more!
Is there a lot of paperwork?
Yes. We get it – paperwork takes a lot of time, but we try to get all of the information we’ll ever need up front so that while you’re at work or on vacation, we don’t have to bother you with questions. Taking the time now saves time later.
What happens at the Meet & Greet?
A Meet & Greet allows us to meet you and your pets to make sure we’re all comfortable with each other. We’ll walk through their routine and go over the paperwork. We’ll pick up the registration packet and 2 copies of your keys from you then as well.
Why do you need 2 copies of my keys?
Unfortunately, accidents and emergencies happen. We keep the second key in a safe place so that if anything happens to the first key or to us, we have another readily accessible so that your pets can still get the care they need on time. If you have a keyless door lock, we ask for a code plus an extra key or other way into the house in case it ever fails.
How do I book and pay?
Once we have your completed registration packet, 2 sets of keys, and completed a Meet & Greet, you can book by calling, texting, or emailing. We’ll confirm within 24 hours and send you an invoice via SquareUp. You have the option of paying by credit card online or by cash or check. Payment is due the day before service begins.
What times do you offer visits?
We schedule visits & walks during the following time blocks:
Due to the unpredictability of Charleston traffic and pets’ accidents, we can’t guarantee exact times.
What if I need to cancel?
No problem! We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel pet sitting and morning of notice for dog walking to avoid a cancellation fee.
Do you charge more for holidays?
We have a $10/day holiday fee for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
Do you ever close?
Yes, we love to travel! We send out emails as we determine our closure dates along with a list of other local pet sitters we trust. Dates will be added here as well.
